Overview
Turn your passion into a profession and become a freediving instructor! The Apnea Total Instructor course is designed for experienced freedivers who want to start a career in teaching freediving and spreading the Apnea Total Education System. The instructor course runs over a period of 4 weeks and is an intensive program of both theory and open-water sessions to give you the proper knowledge and teaching skills as a freediving instructor.
To enroll in the Instructor course you must be an Apnea Total Master Freediver or hold an equivalent level certification from another freediving organization. Physical requirements for the Instructor course include:
- CWT dives to at least 35 meters
- Stratic breath hold of at least 4:30 min
- Stamina test of repetitive CTW dives with short surface intervals
To complete the Apnea Total Instructor Course you will be assisting to teach courses and must teach at least two Freediver courses and one Advanced Freediver course under the supervision of your Apnea Total Instructor Trainer.
